fuckyeah-arthistory: Nevermore - Gustave Doré, c. 1882-83 Doré’s engravings for Edgar Allan Poe’s “The Raven” were his last set of illustrations. He died soon after completing them, in 1883. You can read the whole poem with Doré’s illustrations here.
